In Sandpoint, you can enjoy beautiful hikes all year long! Surrounded by state and national forestlands in the Selkirk, Cabinet and Bitterroot mountain ranges, the Sandpoint area has more than 200 amazing trails in the beautiful mountains surrounding our town.

Pack the kids for a range of fun or educational experiences. In winter and summer, Schweitzer mountain and nearby Pine Street Woods provide a variety of kid-sized outdoor opportunities.
