Every year in the dead of winter since 1973, Sandpoint’s snowbound locals cook up a sure antidote to cabin fever. It’s the Sandpoint Winter Carnival, pure fun celebrating the best of the snowy season. The carnival spans two weekends with a host of fun happenings indoors and out, on Schweitzer Mountain and in town. Coming up February 17-24, 2024, events will include the Parade of Lights, music concerts, the Let it Glow Parade and Fireworks at Schweitzer, the fabulously furry fun of the K9 Keg Pull and more.
